CellItUsed.com jingle

CellItUsed.com jingle

This is a jingle I wrote for Cellitused.com via the production company Ghostie on Second makers of the famed GamePro.com sitcom Played Out.  It only took like half an hour and turned out way better than I thought it would.  I especially like the glockenspiel bell whistling “do do” part.  Go check out those sites.

At Cell it used you can get money for your old cell phone.  Go “do do” it up!
Only three more songs to go before the big one year switchover… This blog is going to become something totally different.  I’ll keep releasing clues… here is your clue for today… I purchased the web domains http://www.thereshouldbeawebsite.com as well as http://www.thereshouldbeablog.com what could this be… stay tuned… I feel like it’s going to be a lot more popular than the song cycle (which is what I’m refering to the past year of TheSundayThursday as).

The Ghost Waltz

The Ghost Waltz

I did this song in about three hours… did=wrote recorded and posted. It’s reminisceint of William Edward Muller another song about death etc. This one is about how our dead relatives watch us and haunt us after they die. My pap might be a little confused about how I use his old banjo and ukulele and dulcimer. Hopefully he cares enough… I mean heaven is probably pretty disctracting.

This was thesundaythusday’s 100th song.  Four more songs to go and the “song cycle” will be done.  It will be replaced by something completely different. This one has a steel drum in it and it is totally loop pedalable. Johny Cashish and Nuetral Milk Hotelish…

Rescue

Rescue

This is a word I thought of today as the message was given at Hot Metal Church. Jeff Eddings asked us to listen to a passage and pick out one word that hits you… for me it was rescue. But I’m not sure if I’m a rescuer or a rescuee. This is just a bunch of elec guitar loops with drums.

Von Brunswick! The Hymn of the troubadour clown

Von Brunswick! The Hymn of the troubadour clown

This is an assesment of the battle that took place between a vicious tyrant’s armies and some circus freaks in the woods. Some folks died. Ukulele, Glock etc. I think there will be two more VB songs just to wrap up. The final VB song will be the final Sunday Thursday song on February 8.

First

First

This songs chronicles the book of genesis… that’s just the sort of freeform stuff that came out when I sat down to record. Open tuning loop pedalable… Once I practice up on this I’ll be able to play it live with the loop pedal. Things are winding down with the sunday thursday. I’ll be done in three weeks.

What Now What Now

What Now What Now

it’s 2:30 in the Am on a friday… I began this at about 11:00 pm on a thursday… just three hours ago… the world was a different place then… I was already tired… but I had just eaten two hot dogs… mmmmm. I’ll doctor up the timestamp to make it lok like it’s still thursday. This song is about uncertainty and youth. What else really. Just guitar harmonica claps and bass drum.

A Tricky Thing

A Tricky Thing

Here is a punkish sort of thing… I haven’t written many of these buzzy, distorted quick rock things so here is one.  Hmmm well I’ll be done witht he Sunday Thursday in a month.  I can’t wait to give myself a break.  Has anyone called Guiness book.
