Don Quixote Schemes

Don Quixote Schemes

This is something I’d associate with marching band arena rock anthems and stuff… This is my first time using (even playing) a glockenspiel it worked out real well.  For all intents and purposes you can assume that I stole the glockenspiel out of the inner working devices of a German town-square cookoo clock!  Believe!  It’s now 1:23 in the morning on Saturday… I keep having to work on the songs into the wee hours because of school, work and other things taking up my time… As well as the old ferret collection.  This song probably took around 9 hours in the last few days to write, record and grease with melted butter and a paintbrush MMMMMmmmm… that is a bunch of time seeing as how I work a 40 hour a week, take night classes three nights a week and have a girlfriend… I wish I didn’t have to sleep.  Are there  pills to cure the conditions of sleep?  Please send them c/o Sir Oliver Johnstonbaugh-Histerfuss… as I’ve been screening my mail lately.
Anyway.. this song is about long weary sojourns across the country… foggy highways in Nebraska… being a quixotic, eccentric, young man etc… In the song I play Guitars, Glockenspiel, Drums, Bass, and hand percussions… Gwen sings the operatic backing vocals… she is pretty freakin’ good.
